Who is your favorite Jedi? This can be from the movies, or EU, or even the Holiday Special, so Bea Arthur fans finally have their due. Sith don't count, as they are not Jedi, but Sith. (The Sith will raise again in another post.)

I'd have to agree with Qui'Gon being my favorite. Too bad his life ended so sudden in TPM and we didn't hear much after that.

I deffently like Plo Koon the best. but I like Darth Maul better (even though hes not a jedi).

Has there been more written about him in the EU, besides a brief mention or two?

I'm surprised about two things here. One is that more EU Jedi weren't chosen, and B is that Anakin, the chosen one who brings balance to the force is not a favorite. Perhaps because he switches sides too many times back and forth, back and forth, that no one can make up thier mind about him.

Qui-Gon turned up in several EU books although I think it was mostly in the Jedi Apprentice series (kids books).

Fav EU Jedi would probably be Kyle Kartan although not sure he became a proper Jedi

Fave EU Jedi for me was Anakin Solo

Anakin was a whiner... YUCK. Now... as Vader he didn't whine... until RotJ.

Liam Neeson is sexy...as Qui-Gon, and as other ...err, characters.
Of course, I've been compared with Yoda, so he's one I like.
And then there's Anakin... another one who's really appealing on an animal level. Hayden Christiansen is HOT.

Oh, and I can't forget Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan... I wonder why they didn't make more of the almost-love-triangle with Padme, Anakin & Obi-Wan. it would have worked, even with PG13. Shoot, that is tame, compared with some of the stuff kids listen to & see these days.

All the female SW fans like Ewan though.
