So after episode 3 i gave up all hopes of seeing an original star wars movie on the big screen. Thank God for CGI. A new movie and this time Anakin has an apprentice.(Didn't see that one coming)

Anyway people lets hear it are we ready for a new film? I can't wait hopefully it will be the first of many new and grand adventures!

It looks good but I'm going to reserve my judgement for after I actually see it, for this one.

I always love seeing SW on the big screen but I wish this could of been another film rather than CGI

I avoided this thread for a reason. Anyways, I just got back from the 12:01am showing. My review? I'd grade it a C.
Click to reveal..

On one hand, it revealed some things that would be nice to know. But on the other, I got the feeling it was like EU trying to mess with the series timeline. It introduced several issues I didn't like, such as what happened to Anakin's apprentice now? How much control do the Hutts have over the outer rim? And I found it incredible that Jabba would have such an impact on the Clone Wars--but it doesn't explain his attitude towards Luke Skywalker in ROTJ. The animation part also felt a bit too cheesy, though I admit, I'll need to see the original (pre-RotS) CW shorts to compare.

Don't get me wrong, I'll probably get the DVD release when that happens (like a good SW fan), but I don't know if I'll see it in the cinemas again (if I get the time.)

Have watched the 1st 2 episodes on sky prem tonight and despite the bad press I can say I really enjoyed them. I actually thought they were much better than the feature length cinema episode. Yes lots of the parts are in there for kids but then these are cartoons. I look forward to the rest of the series

I wonder if those are available in the US. Or can they be bought online? I've not had an advent calendar in a long time. It's high time we had one again.

I've seen the one about the clonetroopers, and no. 6 about R2. Both were good. I'm looking forward to watching no. 7. I wish they would leave the episodes on the server so we can watch older ones. I like to watch stuff online.

we got Chris the DVD of Clone Wars. I don't know, I am still not sure how I feel about it, relative to the movies. It felt strange to contemplate Jabba having a family.
