Well, despite having the flu and worried about losing my job, everything else is great.

Alana is happy in her school and doing very well.

Cheryl is happy in her new job.

I'm frightened to phone in sick at work in case they sack me but I'm just not up to it.

But, hey, that's life!

Wow, that sounds bad. I thought they can't fire you just for being sick, especially in the UK. Get better soon.

Me, I think I can say meh. Serious personal issues that I post on my journal, and hope to get a resolution on it asap.

This has been a year of good and bad for me. I was laid off from my job of 6 years in February. I knew that was coming, so not a big surprise. I was off work for 6 months. Im now working as a shipper receiver at another warehouse in town. And Last month I asked Kelly to marry me. We have set a date of September 12, 2008. Im still playing FFIX.

I might pop back in when I have more time. And once i figure out how to get e-mails on my crackberry I will give that e-mail so if anyone wants to say hi they can

A quick update. I may be offline more than online (despite getting the iPhone) because of problems with my family, and trying to establish a new life.

CK, i'm not sure how your blackberry works, but if it's like my iPhone, you can receive messages by IMAP and then click/touch the e-mail icon.

Well I've been away for ages, but get the occasional fix from Facebook, but since his Lordship left I've had to come back here!!!

I'm still living by the coast, working in London, and now pretty much blind in my left eye thanks to Southend hospital (oh yes, five eye surgeries in the last year or so....)

As for Facebook, it was just too addictive, needed to break the habit.

Status update: I'm in Sweden for the moment. I'll keep you informed how things work out with us.

Update #2: 2 weeks after I wrote the above, I went back to the US. Things just did not work out between Helena and I, and now a divorce is starting. Melody is with me right now due to the circumstances at the moment. Since my parents moved states, I'm also in the Eastern US until further notice. If I don't count issues with Helena, things are decent here.
